What Summit Coordinators Do

Promote & Advertise

Spread the word about YALS 2027 across your networks, universities, and communities. Be the face of the summit in your country.

Mobilise Delegates

Recruit and assist prospective delegates with registration. Guide them through the application process and answer questions.

Build Partnerships

Engage relevant stakeholders, sponsors, and organisations on our behalf. Forge relationships that strengthen the summit's impact.

Engage Government Youth Agencies

Establish contact with your country's Ministry of Youth and other government agencies responsible for youth development. Secure a formal partnership between them and the Young African Leaders Summit so they nominate relevant officers and representatives to participate.

Support National Participation

Work with government youth agencies and ministries to provide support and assistance to nationals who wish to attend the summit. Facilitate introductions, endorsement letters, and any institutional backing that helps delegates from your country participate.

Coordinate Travel

Help delegates from your country secure group flight discounts and coordinate travel arrangements for a smooth journey to Accra.

Share Updates

Keep your community informed with the latest summit news, speaker announcements, and programme updates via social media and direct outreach.

Lead Your Delegation

Serve as the primary point of contact for delegates from your country. Provide leadership support and coordinate welfare at the summit.

Hit Your Delegate Target

Each Country Coordinator has a target of successfully registering at least 15 paid delegates for the summit. You will receive a unique referral link to share across your networks. Delegates can come from anywhere, not only your country. Your progress is tracked in real time on your Coordinator Dashboard.
